Zalamat SMS Authentication & Opt-In
This page explains how Zalamat users consent to receive SMS authentication and account security messages, including one-time passcodes (OTPs).
Zalamat sends SMS messages solely for account authentication, identity verification, and security purposes.
Messages are transactional and are sent when a user initiates a login or verification request. Zalamat does not use this SMS program to send advertising, promotional offers, newsletters, or marketing messages.
How Users Opt In
During Zalamat account setup or security configuration, users may choose SMS as an authentication method. The user provides their mobile phone number and must separately consent to receiving SMS authentication messages.
The SMS consent checkbox is not pre-selected. The user must actively select it before SMS authentication can be enabled.
Example SMS Authentication Enrollment
This is a publicly accessible representation of the Zalamat SMS consent process for compliance review. This public page does not collect or submit telephone numbers. Actual account enrollment occurs within the secure Zalamat account environment.
When Messages Are Sent
After a user has opted in to SMS authentication, Zalamat sends an SMS when the user initiates a login, identity verification, or authentication request.
Message frequency varies based on user activity and is generally one message per authentication request. Message and data rates may apply.
